Mims, FL – Fatal Crash on I-95 Leaves One Dead, One Seriously Injured

Mims, FL (July 26, 2025) – A tragic accident occurred on the morning of Saturday, July 26, on the southbound side of Interstate 95 near Mims, resulting in one fatality and another person seriously injured. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reported that the multi-vehicle collision happened during the early morning hours, leading to the complete shutdown of all southbound lanes for several hours. Emergency crews responded swiftly to the scene to assess the situation and assist the victims.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of their injuries. Another individual sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to a nearby trauma center for emergency medical care. Their current condition has not been disclosed. Authorities conducted a detailed on-site investigation.
