Stamford, CT – Deadly Multi-Vehicle Pedestrian Crash on I-95/Exit 6

Stamford, CT (November 20, 2025) – A tragic multi-vehicle incident on I-95 northbound claimed the life of a pedestrian early Wednesday morning, November 19, according to Connecticut State Police. The collision occurred just before 6:30 a.m. near Exit 6, when an unidentified person walking in the right travel lane was first struck by a passing vehicle and thrown toward the left portion of the highway.

State Police report that two additional vehicles also hit the victim, and all three drivers left the scene without providing aid or identifying information. Moments later, a fourth vehicle merging from the centre lane also struck the pedestrian; this driver immediately stopped, remained on the scene, and cooperated with investigators.

Troopers are working to identify the victim and are reviewing dashcam footage, roadway evidence, and witness accounts. They are urging anyone who was traveling through the area between 6:10 a.m. and 6:25 a.m. to contact Troop G with any information.
