Richmond, VA – Multi-Vehicle Pileup on I-95 S Leaves One Injured
Richmond, VA (September 11, 2025) – A multi-vehicle pileup involving as many as 10 cars left one person injured on I-95 South in Richmond on Wednesday morning, September 10. 
Traffic backups extended for several miles during the morning rush. One person suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. Other drivers and passengers involved were assessed at the scene and declined additional treatment.
Investigators have not yet confirmed the cause of the crash, but are reviewing whether speed and congestion played a role. Cleanup crews worked diligently to clear debris, and the interstate was fully reopened later that morning.
