Providence, RI – Rollover Crash on I-95 S/Exit 39B Results in Injuries

Providence, RI (September 7, 2025) – On Sunday, September 7, multiple people were injured after a serious crash involving a vehicle rollover on Interstate 95 southbound near Exit 39B (Smithfield Avenue/North Main Street) in Providence. According to the Rhode Island State Police, the accident involved multiple vehicles, one of which overturned during the collision.

Emergency crews quickly responded, providing aid to the injured. Several victims were evaluated at the scene, and at least one was transported to a local hospital for additional medical care.

Traffic on I-95 South was heavily impacted as authorities shut down lanes to allow responders to stabilize the scene and remove the overturned vehicle.
