Prince George’s Co., MD – Tractor-Trailer Crash on I-95/495 Leaves Driver Injured
Prince George’s County, MD (August 20, 2025) – A tractor-trailer collision on the Capital Beltway’s inner loop left one person injured on Wednesday afternoon, August 20. The crash happened on I-95/495 southbound, just before the US-1 (Exit 25) interchange in Prince George’s County.
According to Maryland State Police, the tractor-trailer collided with another vehicle under circumstances that are still undisclosed. One individual involved in the crash suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities have confirmed the injuries were not life-threatening.
Additional passengers in the second vehicle were assessed on-site and released without further medical care. Troopers are investigating the sequence of events leading to the collision. Crews worked for several hours to clear the scene and restore traffic flow along the inner loop.
