Philadelphia, PA – Injuries Reported in I-95 NB Pileup between Exits 27 and 30
Philadelphia, PA (August 21, 2025) – A serious chain-reaction crash on Thursday, August 21, left several people injured along I-95 northbound in Philadelphia. The accident happened between Exit 27 (Trenton Avenue) and Exit 30 (Cottman Avenue/Rhawn Street). According to the Pennsylvania State Police, several vehicles collided in the northbound lanes, resulting in heavy damage and multiple injuries.
Emergency responders arrived swiftly, assisting the victims and assessing their conditions. At least two people were transported to nearby hospitals, while others were treated on-site for less severe injuries. The pileup forced authorities to shut down multiple lanes of I-95 for several hours as crews worked to clear the roadway and investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
