Bridgeport, CT – Four-Vehicle Crash on I-95 Near Exit 27A Causes Injuries

Bridgeport, CT (October 22, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer caused non-life-threatening injuries on I-95 northbound near Exit 27A on Wednesday afternoon, October 22. According to Connecticut State Police, emergency crews responded shortly after 2:15 p.m. following reports of a crash involving four vehicles, including a large commercial truck.

Upon arrival, responders found damaged vehicles blocking multiple lanes and debris scattered across the roadway. Paramedics treated several individuals at the scene for sustained injuries, and no serious or life-threatening injuries were reported. Tow trucks were called to remove the vehicles, and traffic was backed up for nearly an hour as police directed motorists around the scene. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
