Wilmington, DE – Crash on I-95 near MLK Jr. Blvd Leaves Injuries

Wilmington, DE (November 6, 2023) – A harrowing accident involving a dump truck occurred on Monday, November 6th on Interstate 95.

Around 3:30 p.m., a dump truck overturned in the southbound lanes near Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, spilling stone and fuel onto the highway, according to the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT).

The dump truck not only collided with at least one car but also caused another vehicle on the opposite side of the road to spin during the accident.

During the incident, one individual was extricated from the overturned truck and promptly transported to the hospital with severe injuries, as reported by the New Castle County Dispatch.

Investigations into the accident are currently ongoing to determine the precise circumstances that led to this unfortunate incident.
