Westport, CT – Injuries Sustained in Three-Vehicle Crash on I-95 S 

Westport, CT (April 22, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident on the southbound side of Interstate 95 in Westport resulted in reported injuries early Tuesday morning, April 22. Connecticut State Police responded to the crash just after sunrise, following reports of a collision involving at least three vehicles. Upon arrival, officers found extensive damage to the involved vehicles, one of which was severely crumpled at the rear.

First responders from the Westport Fire Department and EMS assessed the scene and provided immediate assistance to those injured. One individual was taken to the hospital for further treatment of moderate injuries, while others received care at the scene. Fortunately, no life-threatening injuries have been reported so far. A wrecker was called to tow the damaged vehicles. Authorities have not released the identities of the individuals involved, and the incident remains under active investigation.
