Wells, ME – Three-Vehicle Wreck on I-95/Captain Thomas Bdg Results in Injuries
Wells, ME (February 13, 2025) – A serious three-vehicle accident occurred early Thursday morning, February 13, on the southbound side of I-95 near the Captain Thomas Bridge. According to Wells Fire Capt. Marc Cuthbertson, emergency crews responded to the crash at approximately 6:11 a.m. The collision involved a box truck, a tractor-trailer, and a passenger vehicle near Mile Marker 14 between York and Wells. Injuries were confirmed, but officials have not yet released details regarding the extent of those injuries and the identities of the injured parties. First responders worked swiftly to provide aid to those involved and to clear the roadway to restore traffic flow. The local police are handling the investigations to uncover the underlying cause.
