Upper Chichester Township, PA – Accident on I-95 N in Delaware Cty Claims Life

Upper Chichester Twp., PA (November 5, 2023) – Tragedy struck on the morning of November 4th, when a fatal accident occurred on Interstate 95 in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County.

At around 5:30 a.m., a disabled vehicle was occupying the travel lane on the northbound side of I-95, the aftermath of a previous crash. Another vehicle traveling in the same direction collided with the disabled car on its driver’s side.

The impact of the collision forced both vehicles to come to a halt in the right lane and right shoulder. Sadly, the operator of the disabled vehicle lost their life in the accident.

Authorities have not released the victim’s identity, but it has been disclosed that they were 36 years old.

The second driver, who struck the disabled vehicle, fortunately sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigations into this tragic incident are ongoing, as authorities work to determine the precise circumstances that led to this devastating accident.
