Titusville, FL – Driver Injured in I-95 Crash Involving Multiple Vehicles

Titusville, FL (April 19, 2025) – A severe two-vehicle crash involving a Toyota Tacoma and a Volvo tractor-trailer left one driver in critical condition on Friday morning, April 18, on northbound Interstate 95 near State Road 407 in Titusville. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when the Toyota Tacoma collided with the rear of the Volvo semi-truck. The impact was forceful enough to cause the trailer to become detached from its cab, resulting in further roadway hazards and debris across multiple lanes. The driver of the Toyota Tacoma sustained life-threatening injuries and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where they remain in critical condition. The driver of the tractor-trailer, fortunately, did not suffer any injuries and remained at the scene to assist authorities. Florida Highway Patrol officers conducted an initial investigation and closed off part of the interstate to secure the scene. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
