Stafford County, VA – Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash on I-95 at MM 136 Claims Two Lives

Stafford County, VA (July 5, 2023) – A tragic three-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer occurred early the morning of July 5th on I-95, prompting a quick response by the Virginia State Police. The incident took place on the northbound side of the interstate, specifically at the 136-mile marker.

Authorities responded to the scene following the 4:42 a.m. report, according to a press release from Sergeant Brent Coffey, the spokesperson for the Virginia State Police. Tragically, the crash resulted in two confirmed fatalities, while one individual sustained injuries. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) provided assistance at the scene by initiating road closures and redirecting traffic.
