Richmond, VA – Two Vehicle Collision on I-95 S, Injuries Reported

Richmond, VA (August 7, 2024) – A serious accident occurred on the morning of August 7th on I-95 South at mile marker 79. Engine 16 responded to the scene involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle. The Richmond Ambulance Authority evaluated one occupant from the passenger vehicle for injuries sustained in the crash. The Virginia State Police and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) were also on location to assist with the situation and manage traffic. The extent of the injuries is still being assessed, and authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
