Richmond, VA – Crash on I-95 NB near Arthur Ashe Blvd Results in Injuries

Richmond, VA (October 27, 2023) – On the afternoon of October 27th, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on the northbound lanes of I-95 near Arthur Ashe Blvd (MM 77.6), resulting in injuries to those involved.

First responders swiftly arrived on the scene and provided immediate medical care to the injured individuals. Subsequently, they were transported to local hospitals for further evaluation and treatment. The extent of their injuries remains undisclosed at this time.

As a result of the accident, the right and center travel lanes had to be temporarily closed, leading to a traffic backup of approximately four miles and impacting the flow of commuters in the area.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.
