Providence, RI – One Injured in Multi-Car Crash on I-95 N at Exit 35

Providence, RI (July 15, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on the northbound side of Interstate 95 near Exit 35 (US-1A/Thurbers Avenue) left one person injured on July 15. According to the Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT), the collision occurred during a high-traffic period and involved several vehicles. The crash temporarily blocked lanes and caused considerable delays along the I-95 corridor heading into downtown Providence.

Local police and emergency services were dispatched to the scene, where one person was found injured. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. At this time, the individual’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. The Providence Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
