Prince George, VA – Hit & Run on I-95 S at MM 37 Leaves Injuries
Prince George, VA (October 24, 2023) – On October 24th, a hit-and-run accident took place on I-95 South at mile marker 37.
Virginia State Police immediately arrived at the scene, where a construction worker had been struck by a vehicle that callously fled without stopping to provide assistance. The worker’s identity is currently undisclosed.
In the aftermath of the collision, emergency services were quickly called in to assess the extent of the construction worker’s injuries.
At the same time, authorities issued a “Be On the Lookout” (BOLO) alert for a black four-door vehicle, the one responsible for this hit and run. The vehicle was last spotted heading south through the work zone cones.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing, and law enforcement is actively working to apprehend the responsible party.
