Prince George’s Co., MD – Injury Multi-Vehicle Wreck on I-95/495/Branch Ave.
Prince George’s County, MD (May 8, 2025) – Several individuals were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on May 7 on the southbound Inner Loop of I-95/495, just past MD-5 at Exit 7 (Branch Avenue).
The Maryland State Police responded to the scene shortly after reports of a crash involving multiple cars during the afternoon rush hour. Upon arrival, troopers found numerous vehicles with front- and rear-end damage.
First responders from Prince George’s County Fire and EMS provided emergency medical care at the scene. Multiple people were assessed on the scene for injuries, though officials have stated their injuries appear to be non-life-threatening. Authorities have launched a formal investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
