Prince George’s Co., MD – Injury Multi-vehicle Crash on I-95 SB near MD-414

Prince George’s County, MD (February 28, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle crash on the southbound lanes of Interstate 95/495 (Inner Loop) before Exit 4 at MD-414 resulted in injuries on February 28. Maryland State Police confirmed that multiple vehicles were involved in the accident, which left at least one left travel lane blocked while emergency crews worked to assist victims.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and provided medical attention to those injured who were transported to a nearby hospital for further care. Investigators are still determining the exact cause of the accident, but preliminary reports suggest that traffic congestion and possible driver inattention may have been contributing factors.
