Prince George’s Co, MD – Injury Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-95/495/MD-4 Exit
Prince George’s County, MD (April 10, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 95/495 Northbound (Outer Loop) near Exit 11 for MD-4 resulted in multiple injuries on April 10, prompting a large response from Maryland State Police and emergency crews. The crash, which occurred during afternoon traffic, involved multiple vehicles and caused a significant backup along the Capital Beltway. First responders arrived swiftly to provide medical assistance. Several individuals were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while others were evaluated at the scene. Authorities temporarily closed multiple lanes to allow for emergency crews to work safely and efficiently. Tow trucks were later called to remove the damaged vehicles, and traffic was fully restored after approximately two hours. Investigators with the Maryland State Police are continuing to examine what led to the crash.
