Prince George’s Co, MD – Injury Multi-Car Crash on I-95/I-495 near MD-414
Prince George’s County, MD (September 24, 2024) – A multi-car crash caused significant traffic disruptions on September 24th along the northbound lanes of I-95 at the I-495 intersection near the MD-414 exit in Prince George’s County, resulting in injuries and the temporary closure of all travel lanes. The accident took place during the late afternoon on the Outer Loop of the Beltway, just before Exit 4. Maryland State Police responded swiftly to the scene, along with local emergency crews who assessed the situation and provided medical assistance. Several vehicles were heavily damaged in the incident, which is believed to have started when one car abruptly lost control, triggering a chain reaction involving several other vehicles.
