Prince George’s Co., MD – Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95 SB Before Exit 27

Prince George’s County, MD (May 3, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash occurred on Wednesday, May 1st, along I-5 Southbound, just before the westbound I-495 exit (Exit 27), leaving several people injured. The Maryland State Police responded to reports of a serious accident involving multiple vehicles during the early evening hours. Medics from the Prince George’s County Fire & EMS Department were on-site within minutes to assist. Several individuals sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital for further medical attention. Others were treated at the scene and released. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the damaged vehicles. Maryland State Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
