Prince George County, VA (December 17, 2024) – A major nine-vehicle pileup on I-95 North in Prince George County left 11 people injured Monday night, December 16. The Virginia State Police reported that the crash occurred just after 7:30 p.m. near mile marker 43. Emergency services, including multiple fire departments and ambulances, arrived promptly to assist the victims. One individual sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a trauma center, while 10 others were taken to three separate hospitals with non-critical injuries. Authorities shut down several lanes of traffic for hours while crews worked to clear the scene and investigate the circumstances leading to the collision. State police confirmed that charges are pending as investigators analyze evidence from the vehicles and interview all parties involved.
