Philadelphia, PA – Multiple Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95 SB

Philadelphia, PA (May 9, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle accident on the southbound side of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia caused injuries during the morning hours of May 9. The crash occurred between Exit 26 for the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue and the Aramingo Avenue exit. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, several vehicles collided in the southbound lanes, leading to significant damage and injuries among the drivers and passengers involved. Multiple emergency units from the Philadelphia Police Department and local EMS responded to the scene. Some victims were treated on-site, while others were transported to nearby hospitals for more comprehensive medical care. The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
