Philadelphia, PA (October 13, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash caused injuries and heavy delays on Interstate 95 South past the Academy Road exit on Monday, October 13. Pennsylvania State Police reported that several vehicles collided in the southbound lanes during the afternoon, leaving debris and disabled cars scattered across the roadway.
Emergency responders treated victims at the scene, while at least one individual required transportation to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Traffic was severely backed up as officers worked to redirect vehicles around the crash site. Tow trucks removed the damaged cars from the roadway, allowing lanes to gradually reopen. Authorities are still investigating the events leading to the collision and have not confirmed how many people were injured or their conditions.
