Philadelphia, PA – Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95 N/Allegheny Ave

Philadelphia, PA (January 1, 2026) – A multi-vehicle crash resulting in injuries occurred on I-95 northbound at Exit 25, Allegheny Avenue/Castor Avenue, in Philadelphia on New Year’s Day, January 1. Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of multiple vehicles involved in a chain-reaction collision.

Troopers found several damaged vehicles obstructing lanes, causing traffic delays along the northbound side of I-95. At least two individuals sustained injuries. One victim was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for further medical evaluation.

Authorities temporarily restricted traffic while tow trucks cleared the wreckage and investigators documented the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
