Philadelphia, PA – Fatal Pedestrian Wreck on I-95/Philadelphia-Delaware Co Line
Philadelphia, PA (November 15, 2024) – On the afternoon of Friday, November 15, a tragic incident occurred on I-95 near the Philadelphia-Delaware County line, resulting in the death of a female pedestrian.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the woman was struck and killed on the southbound side of I-95 between the Bartram Avenue exit and Prospect Park. The Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management confirmed the fatality, though details regarding the victim’s identity remain limited at this time. In response to the accident, authorities temporarily closed the southbound lanes of I-95 in the affected area to conduct a thorough investigation and clear the scene.
