Palm Beach Gardens, FL (November 13, 2024) – A major accident involving two tractor-trailers early Wednesday morning, November 13, on I-95 southbound near the Donald Ross Road exit left one driver injured. The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. when a Freightliner semi-truck driven by a 33-year-old man from Columbia, Missouri, rear-ended a Mitsubishi Fuso tractor-trailer, causing it to overturn. The Freightliner subsequently jackknifed and struck a concrete wall, leading to significant damage and debris strewn across the highway. Emergency crews from Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue promptly responded to the scene. The driver of the Mitsubishi Fuso sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Freightliner driver reportedly escaped unharmed. The Florida Highway Patrol has launched an investigation into the cause of the collision.
