New Haven, CT – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-95 S Causes Injuries

New Haven, CT (December 15, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision caused injuries on Interstate 95 southbound in New Haven on Monday, December 15. The crash was first reported around 6:00 a.m. between Exits 47 and 46, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

Connecticut State Police confirmed that two passenger vehicles were involved in the incident. The right and center lanes were temporarily shut down as troopers secured the scene. Authorities indicated that non-serious injuries were reported, though occupants were assessed on-site as a precaution. No hospital transports were required.

Towing crews worked to remove the vehicles and restore traffic flow. Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
