Mims, FL – Motorcyclist Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crashes on I-95
Mims, FL (February 3, 2024) – A motorcyclist from Merritt Island was killed in a series of crashes involving five vehicles on Interstate 95 on February 3rd in the Mims area, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The wreck occurred around 9:03 p.m. on Saturday, prompting a roadblock of I-95′s southbound lanes. The crash involved a Kia Forte, a Nissan Rogue, two Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and a Dodge Challenger. The driver of the Kia and the Nissan’s driver and passenger were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries, while the Merritt Island man on the Harley-Davidson was pronounced dead at the scene. FHP is still investigating.
