Miami Gardens, FL – Wrong-Way Collision on I-95 Leaves Multiple People Injured
Miami Gardens, FL (November 23, 2025) – A serious wrong-way crash on Interstate 95 injured several people early Sunday morning, November 23. The incident occurred around 5:17 a.m. in the northbound lanes near Miami Gardens Drive when a black Chevrolet coupe traveling southbound in the northbound direction collided head-on with a blue Dodge sedan. The impact pushed the Dodge into a semi-truck traveling behind it, causing further damage and injuries.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews responded immediately. Two occupants of the Chevrolet suffered serious injuries and were transported to HCA Florida Aventura Hospital for emergency treatment. Four occupants of the Dodge sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were also taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. The truck driver was assessed on-site and declined further medical care.
Authorities closed several northbound lanes as they investigated the wrong-way entry point and worked to clear the accident scene. Troopers are reviewing roadway cameras and statements to determine how the Chevrolet entered the highway going the wrong direction.
