Miami, FL – Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Audi on I-95 SB Ramp

Miami, FL (July 3, 2025) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred Tuesday evening, July 1, on a southbound ramp of I-95 just past Northwest 2nd Street, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). Investigators say a black Audi sedan was traveling south near the Northwest 8th Street exit when it struck a man who was trying to cross the highway on foot. The man suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released, as authorities are still working to notify his family. The driver of the Audi stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. So far, officials have not said whether speed, impairment, or distraction were factors in the crash. A full investigation is ongoing.
