Martin Co., FL – Wrong-Way Crash on I-95 Leaves Two Dead, One Injured
Martin County, FL (March 1, 2025) – A wrong-way crash on Interstate 95 in Martin County resulted in two fatalities early Saturday morning, March 1, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). The incident occurred near mile marker 108 when a reckless driver, traveling southbound in the northbound lanes, caused multiple collisions.
Authorities confirmed that the driver struck two vehicles head-on, resulting in fatal injuries for both victims, who were the sole occupants of their respective cars. The wrong-way driver survived the crash and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has taken over the investigation and is working to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic accident.
