Joppa, MD – Two Injured in Serious Multi-Car Crash on I-95 Near MD-152 Exit

Joppa, MD (March 31, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 95 near the Mountain Road/MD-152 exit left two people injured on Monday evening, March 31. According to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, the crash occurred shortly after 6 p.m., prompting a swift response from emergency crews. Upon arrival, firefighters found one individual trapped inside a vehicle and used the Jaws of Life to extricate them.

Both injured victims received initial treatment at the scene before being transported to a nearby medical facility for further care. Their conditions have not been disclosed, but officials confirmed that the injuries were not life-threatening. Maryland State Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident to determine what led to the collision.
