Joppa, MD – Serious Crash on I-95/Exit 74 Leaves Three Injured
Joppa, MD (August 15, 2025) – On the evening of Thursday, August 14, a serious crash on I-95 northbound just before Exit 74 (Mountain Road) in Harford County left three people injured. The collision was reported around 6:30 p.m., according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
Upon arrival, first responders found significant vehicle damage and multiple victims in need of urgent care. One patient was airlifted by the Maryland State Police Aviation Command to a regional trauma center for advanced treatment, while two others were transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals.
The Maryland State Police closed portions of the highway to investigate the cause of the collision and document the scene. Crews worked to remove debris and damaged vehicles, allowing traffic to resume safely.
The crash caused delays for northbound drivers during the evening commute.
