Johnston County, NC – Four Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-95 Near MM 93
Johnston County, NC (October 12, 2023) – In the early hours of October 12th, a multiple-vehicle accident occurred on I-95 in Johnston County, resulting in injuries to four individuals.
The incident took place just before midnight, near mile marker 93, in the vicinity of Brogden Road. Several vehicles were involved in the collision, including a small white car, two tractor-trailers, and a white Jeep towing a travel trailer. The aftermath left these vehicles severely damaged.
Eyewitnesses on the scene reported that all four occupants of the white car were transported to the hospital for medical treatment. At present, the extent of their injuries remains uncertain.
Following the collision, the northbound lanes of I-95 were temporarily closed for nearly two hours. This closure allowed first responders and emergency crews to address the situation and clear the wreckage, ultimately leading to the reopening of the roadway.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this accident.
