Jacksonville, FL – Four Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95/Pecan Park Rd

Jacksonville, FL (September 22, 2024) – A serious multi-vehicle accident occurred on I-95 near Pecan Park Road in Jacksonville on the afternoon of September 22nd, resulting in four individuals being hospitalized. According to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD), two adults and two children were among the injured. JFRD reports that three of the victims, including both children, were transported to the hospital in serious condition. The other adult sustained less severe injuries and is expected to recover. First responders worked diligently to stabilize the victims before transporting them to UF Health Jacksonville for further medical care. The accident caused significant delays on I-95 as crews worked to clear the scene. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
