Jacksonville, FL – Crash on NB I-95 near Emerson St Causes Injuries

Jacksonville, FL (September 26, 2024) – A serious crash occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 near Emerson Street in Jacksonville on September 26th, resulting in injuries and lane closures. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident happened in the morning, causing two lanes of I-95 to be shut down for several hours as emergency personnel responded to the scene. Upon arrival, FHP officers and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue crews assessed the situation and provided medical assistance to the injured victims. Although the extent of the injuries has not been officially released, it was confirmed that the individuals involved required immediate on-site treatment. Following the initial assessment, those who needed further care were transported to a nearby medical facility for additional evaluation. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by FHP.
