Gray, ME – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Fire on I-95/MM 62.5 Leaves Injuries
Gray, ME (September 17, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle crash with fire was reported on the Maine Turnpike northbound near mile marker 62.5 on September 17. According to officials, three vehicles were involved, and one car became fully engulfed in flames following the collision.
Cumberland County emergency crews, including Engines 102 and 105, Heavy Rescue 47, and multiple ambulances, responded quickly to the scene. At least one person sustained injuries, though the extent has not yet been released. Firefighters worked to extinguish the burning vehicle while paramedics provided immediate medical aid to the injured.
The crash caused lane blockages and traffic delays as authorities worked to clear the wreckage. The Maine State Police are continuing their investigation into what led to the fiery crash.
