Georgetown, MA – Crash on I-95 Off-Ramp Claims One Life, Multiple Injured
Georgetown, MA (February 10, 2024) – On the morning, of February 10th, a fatal rollover crash occurred on a busy I-95 off-ramp in Georgetown. Emergency crews responded to Route 133 around 11:15 a.m., finding an overturned SUV and a sedan with deployed airbags. First responders encountered a chaotic scene with two occupants ejected onto the roadway. Off-duty nurses and a firefighter in the area provided medical aid to the injured. Despite efforts, one ejected individual died at an area hospital. The identity of the deceased hasn’t been disclosed pending family notification. The Georgetown Fire Department reported three other injuries. Both vehicles’ occupants were taken to local hospitals. Various local fire departments and ambulance services assisted, including those from Rowley, Newbury, and Groveland. The Massachusetts State Police are investigating the incident’s cause.
