Falmouth, ME – Wrong-Way Head-On Crash on I-95 Injures Driver

Falmouth, ME (December 15, 2024) – A wrong-way crash on I-95 in Falmouth left a pregnant woman injured on the morning of December 15. According to Maine State Police, the collision occurred when a driver traveling in the wrong direction struck another vehicle head-on. The second vehicle was driven by a pregnant woman, who sustained injuries. Paramedics evaluated her at the scene and transported her to a nearby hospital for further medical care. Fortunately, her injuries were determined not to be life-threatening. The driver responsible for the collision was also assessed by emergency responders. Authorities have not disclosed whether charges will be filed, but an investigation is ongoing.
