Fairfax Co. VA – Several Injured in I-95/495 Crash at Exit 170

Fairfax County, VA (April 11, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred on Thursday, April 11, along the southbound side of Interstate 95/495 (Inner Loop) just before the Springfield Interchange (Exit 170), according to Fairfax County officials. Several vehicles were involved in the pile-up. Fairfax County Police and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) responded promptly to the scene. Several victims were assessed for injuries and transported to local hospitals for further evaluation. Their injuries were described as non-life-threatening. Other motorists involved were treated on-site and released. Police are still working to determine the precise cause of the crash.
