Elkridge, MD – Injuries Reported in Multi-Car Crash on I-95 NB/Exit 43 (MD-100)

Elkridge, MD (April 17, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle accident on I-95 in Howard County resulted in injuries and traffic backups near Exit 43 at MD-100 on Thursday afternoon, April 17. The Maryland State Police reported that the crash occurred just before 2:00 p.m. on the northbound lanes of I-95, involving several vehicles. Several individuals sustained injuries, and emergency medical teams were called to the scene. At least two people were transported to a local hospital for further treatment, while others received on-site care. Fortunately, early reports suggest that none of the injuries were life-threatening. First responders worked quickly to secure the area, and traffic was diverted while tow services removed the vehicles. An investigation into the incident is currently underway, led by the Maryland State Police.
