Clarendon Co., SC – Fatal Motorcycle and Pickup Truck Crash on I-95/Manning
Clarendon County, SC (April 28, 2025) – On April 28, a tragic collision claimed the life of a Hartsville woman and left another person injured following a crash. The crash involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck along Interstate 95 near Manning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol and Clarendon County Coroner Jacqueline Blackwell. The incident occurred around 7:11 a.m. near mile marker 127, approximately eight miles north of Manning. Authorities reported that a 2022 Ford pickup truck and a 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle were both traveling southbound when the pickup truck struck the motorcycle from behind.
The passenger on the motorcycle, identified as 30-year-old Morghan Noel Gore of Hartsville, tragically died at the scene from her injuries. The driver of the motorcycle sustained injuries and was transported to McLeod Health Florence for urgent medical treatment. The occupants of the pickup truck – three individuals in total – were not injured in the collision. Troopers from the South Carolina Highway Patrol are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
