Chester, PA – Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-95 SB Leaves Several Injured 

Chester, PA (July 10, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred Thursday, July 10th, on I-95 southbound near Chester, between Exit 6 (toward PA 320/PA 352 – Providence Ave/Edgmont Ave) and Exit 4 (US 322 East – Commodore Barry Bridge/New Jersey).

Pennsylvania State Police reported that at least three vehicles were involved in the crash, which took place during the late afternoon hours and caused a significant disruption to rush hour traffic. The vehicles collided in the middle lanes, resulting in visible damage and debris scattered across the roadway.

Emergency crews from Delaware County, along with state troopers, responded promptly to the scene. Multiple individuals sustained injuries, two of whom were transported to Crozer-Chester Medical Center for further treatment. Several others were treated at the scene. It took over 90 minutes for crews to fully clear the wreckage and reopen the road. Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash.
