Chatham Co, GA – Fatal Three-Car Wreck on I-95 N/Quacco Rd. Overpass

Chatham County, GA (April 23, 2025) – A devastating three-vehicle crash on I-95 North near the Quacco Road overpass claimed one life on the evening of Tuesday, April 22nd, according to the Chatham County Police Department. The accident occurred just before sunset and involved two passenger vehicles and an SUV. Authorities stated that the impact of the crash caused one vehicle to overturn, trapping one occupant inside. Emergency crews, including units from the Chatham County Fire Department and local EMS, responded swiftly to the scene. Despite their efforts, one individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of those involved have not yet been released, pending notification of family members. The Chatham County Police Department has launched a full investigation into the cause of the crash.
