Charleston, SC – Two-Vehicle Wreck on I-95 Leaves Injuries
Charleston, SC (December 22, 2023) – On December 22nd, a serious two-vehicle crash occurred in Colleton County, South Carolina, along I-95, causing significant injuries to two individuals and sending four others to local hospitals for medical attention. According to Colleton County Fire-Rescue, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. when two vehicles traveling south on I-95 collided within a construction zone. The impact resulted in the Jeep veering into the median, while the Sebring convertible descended an embankment and collided with a tree. Emergency responders swiftly took action, transporting the two occupants of the Sebring to a nearby trauma center, both suffering from severe injuries. Simultaneously, the four individuals from the other vehicle, though not facing life-threatening injuries, were admitted to local hospitals for medical evaluation. The Colleton County Fire-Rescue team continues to investigate the crash to determine its root cause.
