Canton, MA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Tractor-Trailer on I-95 at Exit 26

Canton, MA (November 12, 2023) – On the morning of November 12th, tragedy struck on the southbound side of Interstate 95, at Exit 26, where it meets Interstate 93 south of Boston. A pedestrian lost their life in a collision with a tractor-trailer.

Massachusetts State Police, along with the crash reconstruction team and crime scene services, swiftly responded to the incident, managing the heavy traffic flow in both directions.

The identity of the pedestrian is being withheld until their family is notified. State police have not disclosed the circumstances that led to the pedestrian being on the highway, and crucial details are currently under investigation.
