Belcamp, MD – Fatal Crash NB I-95 Before Riverside Parkway Exit

Belcamp, MD (May 3, 2024) – On May 3rd, volunteer firefighters from Abingdon Fire Department and Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, alongside multiple EMS units, responded to a tragic vehicle crash on northbound I-95. The incident occurred before exit 80, Riverside Parkway (MD-543), in Belcamp, MD. Regrettably, one individual was pronounced dead at the scene, and 23 others sustained injuries of varying severity. Emergency responders swiftly provided aid to the injured before transporting them to various hospitals for urgent medical attention. The Maryland State Police launched an inquiry to determine the cause of the crash and ensure justice for the victims.
