Bangor, ME – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95/Stillwater Ave Sends Two to Hospital

Bangor, ME (November 9, 2024) – A multi-vehicle crash on I-95 near the Stillwater Avenue exit left two people injured and hospitalized on Saturday morning, November 9. Maine State Police troopers, along with Bangor Police and Fire Department, responded to the crash, which involved three vehicles and created considerable disruption along the northbound lanes. The accident occurred just before 11 a.m., according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss. Two individuals in one of the vehicles involved were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries for further evaluation. Union Street Towing and Bouchard’s Towing assisted in removing the damaged vehicles from the scene. Officials are investigating the accident to determine the factors leading to the collision.
